COVID-19 update 3

Malta, 18 March 2020: At IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 developments closely. Our primary concern remains the safety of our employees and customers.

In this present environment of escalating precautionary measures by the Malta Health authorities to curb the spread of Coronavirus, IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd adopts a flexible business continuity plan that ensures an uninterrupted service to its customers, while instituting proactive measures to safeguard its employees as best possible.

With this in mind, starting from Monday, 23rd March:

  • employees who are not required to perform essential duties on premises will be working remotely from home;
  • all travel and physical meetings by employees have been postponed and replaced by conference calls;
  • in the meantime, both our Portomaso & Qui-si-sana offices will remain open and attended by a skeleton staff behind closed doors.

Until further notice, we would kindly remind you to avoid visiting our offices in person, but to use phone or email for any service requirement you may have.
