Protecting yourself from Fraud

If you are contacted by an individual claiming to be from the Bank:

  • Ensure that you are really communicating with a bank official.
  • Do not provide any sensitive information.
  • Do not accept requests without ensuring that these are legitimate.

The Bank will only contact you by email, phone or mail and will never:

  • Ask you for any sensitive data.
  • Request remote access to any of your devices.
  • Tell you to make any urgent transfers from your account.

Warning Signs of Fraud

Be aware of these warning signs of fraud to keep your account safe:

  • Unfamiliar transactions.
  • Fake links in an email supposedly received from the Bank.
  • You receive a text, call or email about unusual activity.
  • You receive an email regarding financial services not offered by the Bank.

Report Fraud

If you suspect that you are the victim of bank fraud or are aware of a fraud attempt, please contact us immediately on +356 2248 4500.
