2024Mr. Raymond Busuttil of IIG Bank winner of the Best Banker of the Year Award
Malta, May 2014: IIG Bank is proud to be recognised for its achievements after Raymond Busuttil, Managing Director & CEO was awarded best banker of the year at the MSV Life Top Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2014.
This event, organised by the The Economic Update for the third consecutive year, was attended by some of Malta's most successful people coming from diverse backgrounds of the business community. The awards acknowledged the entrepreneurial achievements of individuals and companies operating in Malta and internationally. The winners were carefully selected for each of the 17 award categories by a judging panel of influential professional practitioners and leading business personalities. The Gala Dinner was held at the 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel with the theme of 'Creating a Culture of Excellence'.
IIG Bank was established in March 2010, and has since grown its business rapidly both locally where it essentially provides a relationship based customer deposit service, and internationally where it is active in financing trade flows of essential commodities.
Asked for his comments on the award, Mr. Busuttil stated "It is a great honour for me to receive this award which I dedicate to the IIG Bank team, whose support and dedication to customer service has been the hallmark of our achievements".
