Malta, June 2019: MaltaProfile has put together a comprehensive list of the most important banking institutions present on the island.
Malta is emerging as a forward-looking banking centre that has attracted international and regional banks as well as smaller, innovative institutions who have established operations in the country. There is a clear divide between the local retail banks that offer a wide range of financial services to corporate and private clients, and the internationally focused, specialised foreign banks that have been set up in Malta and which have almost no interaction with the domestic economy.
