IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, established in 2010, is a licensed banking institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The Bank's principal activity is commodity trade finance with a focus on emerging markets and its aim is to play a role in sustainable trade finance as providers of specific expertise, market knowledge and robust compliance within a transparent supply chain.
Job title & role description:
The Bank is currently looking to recruit an Officer, a clerical role on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00 hrs), with an indefinite contract at employment at the Bank’s main office – Operations Department, situated at Level 20, Portomaso Business Tower, St. Julians.
The role within the Operations Department will support the Bank’s Trade Services Operations function, handling day-to-day processing of payments and trade finance transactions, including documentary letters of credit, documentary collections and guarantees. The Officer will ensure accurate execution and timely follow-up of transactions, liaising with clients and correspondent banks where required, and performing all activities in line with internal policies and procedures, applicable regulations and international rules and standard market practice.
