Depositor Compensation Scheme

IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd. ('the Bank') is a member of the Maltese Depositor Compensation Scheme ('the Scheme'), a rescue fund for depositors of failed banks licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). In the unlikely event that a bank participating in the Scheme is unable to meet its obligations towards its depositors or has otherwise suspended payment in the manner established by LN383 of 2015, the Scheme will pay compensation to the Bank's depositors up to the maximum established by law (currently set at a maximum of EUR 100,000 per depositor).
