IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, established in 2010, is a licensed banking institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The bank's principal activity is international trade finance and trade services.

The Role:

The Bank seeks to recruit a full-time officer to join the Bank's finance department. Working within a small team the selected candidate will be involved in the Bank's daily finance and administrative functions.

Main responsibilities:

• Updating of the Bank's accounting records
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
• Assist in the preparation of the regulatory returns
• Handling finance department requests

Required competencies:

• Work on own initiative
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to process and work with a significant amount of numerical data
• Good communication skills with an excellent command of English
• Minimum Advanced level standard of education
• Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Relevant work experience, though preferred, is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates holding an advanced level in Accounting will be given preference.
