IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, established in 2010, is a licensed banking institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The bank's principal activity is international trade finance and trade services.

The Bank is currently looking to recruit a Trade Services Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main responsibilities:

• Processing of incoming and outgoing payments in accordance with the established procedure;
• Liaises with correspondent banks on any issues related to payments;
• Assisting on all work related to documentary collections, letters of credit and bank guarantees and ensuring it is performed in accordance with established procedures;
• Follows internal and external publications regarding developments related to trade finance business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance or a related discipline (not mandatory);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Previous banking experience or experience in a similar role will be considered an asset;
• Be an efficient team player with a can do attitude;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is a minimum requirement.
