IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, established in 2010, is a licensed banking institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The bank's principal activity is international trade finance and trade services.
The Bank is currently looking to recruit a Customer Services Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.
Main responsibilities:
- Assisting the Relationship Officer in collecting the necessary Customer Due Diligence ('CDD') documents;
- To do the account reviews for the account holders as per the established procedure and to ensure that all the account opening documentation are up to date;
- Compiling of CDD documents of Financial Institutions and to conduct reviews of these relationships as per the established procedures;
- Maintain, monitor and review the customer profiling and transaction records;
- Conduct sanction screening and monitoring of customers;
- Provide timely information as requested by the MLRO/Compliance Department in order to reply to ongoing internal reviews and regulatory authority requests;
- Keeping abreast with local & international laws, regulations and guidelines on AML/CTF;
- Providing guidance to the Relationship Officers and other customer facing staff on CDD and customer onboarding related matters.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance, MCAST Diploma or recognised AML/CFT Certification at MQF level or higher;
- Ability to analyse and interpret information diligently;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Be an efficient team player with a can do attitude;
- Previous experience within a similar role will be considered an asset.
