IIG Bank (Malta) Ltd, established in 2010, is a licensed banking institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The bank's principal activity is international trade finance and trade services.

The Bank is currently looking to recruit a Bank Principal Officer to join their team within the Branch Office in Sliema on a full-time basis.

The Role:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading the team at the Branch office and to oversee the workflow of the daily operations which primarily involves the collection and administration of fixed term deposits. He/she will also be responsible for relationship officer duties with customers and for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and the Branch Manager.

Main responsibilities:

• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Set deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
• Receive customer enquiries and resolve problems.

Requirements:

• Minimum - Advanced level standard of education.
• Experience in a similar role will be considered as an asset.
• Familiarity with company policies and guidelines.
• Good IT knowledge including use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in English.
• Good organizational and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Capable of managing clients' requirements accurately and efficiently.
• Team player with customer-oriented mind-set.
